Post-Exposure and Follow-Up
Objectives:
After completion of this module, the learner will be able to:
- Describe the post-exposure evaluation process including but not limited to proper identification and documentation, counseling, lab collection recommendations by the CDC, and post-exposure prophylaxis.
- Discuss the expectations for occupational exposure from performing first aid duties.
- Identify employees covered under "occupational exposure" as it relates to performing first aid duties.
